About the founder
Hi there, if you’re on this page then you are probably wondering who I am and/or what is YardHacker. Let’s start with me. My name is André and I have a passion for creating and maintaining wonderful yards.
The yard has always been a staple in my life growing up. The memories of playing on the grass and picking fruits from which ever tree was in season, are some of the fondest memories I have as a child.
These are the memories I said to myself, as I grew older, that I also want for my family. This dream proved difficult at first but in time everything seemed to work itself out.
Long story short, through countless hours of research, trial and error, and a few instances of luck, my patience and perseverance prevailed. And this brings me to YardHacker.
About the site
I created YardHacker as a way to take the guess work out of yard work. This site is basically a list of questions I asked myself as I was going through the process of lawn and garden care. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a celebrity landscaper, I want to make your life easier.
Most of what you’ll read is going to be written by me but also look out for guest writers who’d be contributing to YardHarcker. I don’t consider myself an expert on absolutely everything so there will be times a fresh take on a topic might do both you and I a favor. At the end of the day the most important thing for me is bringing you the most relevant and reliable content.
